Starlog listens on the phone you already carry. It knows who said what, writes it all down, and turns every conversation into decisions, tasks and answers you can ask for later.

What it does

Summaries, decisions and tasks from every conversation.

Starlog takes a conversation apart, links it to everything said before, and tells you what happens next. In more than 90 languages.

Summaries

The meeting, in the time it takes to read a page

A summary written for the conversation you actually had, with the decisions pulled out and who said what. Usually ready within minutes.

Action items

Promises become tasks for the person who made them

Each one filed with the right company and on the person's own list.

Ask

Ask anything you have ever heard

Your conversations and documents become a memory you can question in plain words, by voice or text. Every answer shows where it came from.

On the go

Nothing to buy, charge or forget

It runs on the phone you already have. Tap once, lay it on the table and keep talking.

Team Session

Every phone in the room makes the notes better

Others in the meeting scan a code and record on their own phone, in the browser, with nothing to install. Starlog joins every microphone into one transcript that knows who spoke, even the quiet voice at the end of the table. More on notes for in-person meetings.

Security and privacy

Your conversations stay yours.

Built private from the first line of code. Encrypted on the way, servers in the EU, each company sealed on its own, and secure meetings that only the people in them can open.

Secure meetings

Turn on Secure before you record. Once the meeting is ready, its transcript and summary are encrypted with keys from the passkeys of the people in it. Nobody else can open it, not even us. On Plus and up.

Servers in the EU

Starlog runs on servers in Germany, and its backups stay in the EU, in Finland. It is made by a Swiss company.

Sealed per company

Each company and team has its own space for its files and its own AI agent, with no internet access. Nothing crosses between them.

Encrypted on the way

Every connection, from your phone to our servers and on to each service we use, is encrypted.

Never trains anyone else's AI

Training is switched off with every provider we use. Company and team meetings never train anything, and you can say no for your own recordings in Settings.

No passwords to steal

You sign in with a passkey on your phone. A lost phone comes back through your confirmed email.

Before Starlog opens to everyone: encryption at rest with a key per company, our own transcription on our own servers, and servers in Switzerland. Today Starlog is made by a Swiss company and runs on servers in the EU.
Workflows

Each meeting lands where it belongs.

You talk; Starlog does the paperwork. Each meeting lands with the right company or team, and everything in it finds its way to the right person and the right place.

AI assistants

Every conversation becomes AI context.

Connect Starlog to the AI assistants you already use. Ask Claude or ChatGPT about last week's meeting, and they know what was said, decided and promised.

  • Only what you are allowed to see, never a colleague's private notes.
  • Read only: an assistant can look things up, not change them.
  • Switch it off any time, for one assistant or all of them.

Questions

Do I need to buy a device?

No. Starlog runs on the phone you already have, as an app you install straight from the browser. Others in the room can join from their own phone without installing anything. Weighing it against a recorder? See Starlog vs Pocket and Starlog vs Plaud.

Who can hear what I record?

You, the people you share a meeting with, and the members of the company or team it is filed in. No other company's AI learns from it; Starlog's own transcription learns only from private recordings of people who help improve Starlog.

Which languages does it understand?

More than 90 on Pro and Team, with an engine picked for each by our own measurements; 25 European languages on Basic and Plus. It finds the language by itself.

Do I have to tell people I am recording?

Yes, always. Before your first recording, Starlog asks you to confirm that you tell everyone in the room. In some countries you also need their consent.

Is it an AI assistant or a recorder?

Both. It records, then it works for you: it writes the summary, sends tasks to the right people, answers questions about anything you have heard, and gives the AI assistants you use the same memory.

Never take meeting notes again.
