You can delete your Starlog account yourself at any time, in the apps for iPhone and Android or in a browser. It is free and takes a minute.
In the app or on the web
- Open Starlog (the app, or app.starlog.pro) and sign in.
- Tap your initials at the top right to open Settings.
- Under Your data, tap Download my data first if you want to keep a copy.
- Tap Delete my account, read what goes, and tap Delete my account for good.
If you pay for a plan, cancel it first (Settings, Plan, on the web). If you are the only owner of a team with other people in it, make someone else owner first. Settings tells you if either applies.
Without signing in
Write to admin@starlog.pro from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days, usually within a working day.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: your name, your email address and your passkeys.
- Your private space: its meetings with their audio, transcripts, summaries, decisions and tasks, and your notes and files.
- Your questions and Starlog's answers, your settings and what you agreed to.
- A team you are alone in, with everything in it.
It goes at once and cannot be undone.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: our nightly backups keep a copy for up to 30 days; after that it is gone there too.
- Meetings in a company or team: meetings you recorded in a company's or a team's space belong to that company or team and stay there for its other members.
- Payments: Paddle, which sells our paid plans, keeps its own invoices for as long as tax law requires.
Delete only some of your data
You can keep your account and delete single things:
- A meeting you recorded: open it, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete this meeting and tap again. Its audio, transcript, summary and the parts not yet filed go at once; tasks and decisions you already filed stay where you filed them until you delete them there.
- Audio only: on a paid plan, Settings, Keep audio, chooses how long audio is kept; transcripts and summaries stay.
- Anything else: write to admin@starlog.pro and say what you want deleted.
Backups keep a copy for up to 30 days here too. What we keep while you have an account, and why, is in the privacy policy.
