Spaces
Everything in Starlog belongs to a space. Your private space holds what you record for yourself. A team is a space you make in the app (New team) for the people you work with: shared meetings, tasks, decisions, and Ask across the team. A company is a team with more structure: subsidiaries under it, inherited roles, and a tree you can browse under Companies.
Roles
A member sees and works with the space's meetings, documents, tasks and decisions. A lead does everything a member does and invites people. An owner runs the space: the plan, the people, the owners' own folder (board material), and the switch that turns reading by anyone's AI off for the company. Owners of a parent company have a role in a fully owned subsidiary; a partly owned subsidiary inherits nothing unless it is switched on, so its other co-owners never see the parent.
Inviting people
Owners and leads invite from the company's page: an invite link, made for one person, that they open on their phone. It signs them in with a new passkey, no email needed. Each invite is one-time, and you can see who has joined and remove people again.
What a company holds
Under Companies, every company opens to six categories: People, Companies (the ones it works with, and its subsidiaries), Decisions, Tasks, Meetings and Documents. The company's own agent files what it learns from meetings there: the people and companies talked about become cards you confirm or dismiss. A search box searches the company and everything under it.
Ask
Ask answers a question from what you have heard: in one company, or across all your companies. Each company answers on its own, inside its own space, and the app shows the answers side by side, so company data never meets. Answers come with the meetings they rest on, which you can open. Questions count against the plan's monthly allowance.
Tasks across companies
Tasks shows your action items from every space together, each labelled with its company, with owner, due date and the meeting it came from. A task lives in its company; the list only gathers them.
Sharing a meeting
A meeting's page has Share: a link to the summary for people outside Starlog, or Share meeting with a named person who was in the room, so they get the whole meeting in their own space. Every share and every move of a meeting is shown on the meeting to everyone who sees it.
